Volcano Project

Hi, do you want to learn about our volcano project? Great, this is how we made the volcano. First we got the ingredients liquid dishwashing detergent, baking soda, vingar, red food coloring, water, a plastic cup between 4 inches and 6 inches high, a bucket of sand, play dough or plaster, a measuring cup, a piece of card board or a plate, white, black or red paint, and thats all you need. And now you are going to learn how to make your own volcano. First you put ¼ cup of baking soda in to the measuring cup. Add 1 ounce of liquid dishwashing detergent and some drops of food coloring to the baking soda. Then put some sand aroud the cup shaped into a volcano. After that put just a little bit of water onto the sand to make it stick together. Then put a small amount of water to the plaster and mix it. Then put the plaster on the volcano until it dries. When the plaster is dry, try to paint it like a volcano. You can decorate around the volcano. And last you put the vinegar in the cup of magma. You should see your volcano begin to erupt. Enjoy your volcano!
